Thank you for supporting the End Hunger Network, a nonprofit organization (Federal ID 95-3745095) founded in 1983 to help ensure that ending hunger becomes a national priority.
Your contribution strengthens something often overlooked but essential to lasting progress: public understanding. Programs like SNAP, WIC, and school meals are proven to work. But their long-term success depends on whether people understand them, trust them, and expect them to continue. When hunger and nutrition lack a stable public narrative rooted in the widely shared belief that no one in the United States should go hungry, decision-makers may infer that effective support systems can be weakened without triggering broad concern. The End Hunger Network works with journalists, designers, editors, educators, social media creators, corporate communicators, marketers, and media executives -- the storytellers who shape public conversations -- to strengthen the hunger belief environment that allows solutions to endure. Together, we help replace persistent and harmful myths with accurate, dignity-centered narratives that treat hunger and nutrition as essential public health concerns. This work complements direct services to families facing food insecurity by reinforcing the public understanding that makes progress enduring. This is not an advocacy or political campaign. We do not lobby or promote political action. We support communicators who care about accuracy, clarity, and long-term impact by inviting them to help shape and carry forward a shared national understanding about hunger, at a moment when food insecurity is rising in the richest country in history, despite having more than enough food. Your contribution helps reinforce a simple, widely held belief: no one in our country should go hungry, and the solutions we have should be protected. We can't afford to go backward.
